We manufacture some of the very best AR15 type rifles and carbines available. We do this by hand selecting each and every one of our vendors to insure that we get only the very best parts available and then hand inspect, fit and test fire each weapon and upper receiver prior to releasing it for sale. Hand Assembled and Test Fired - Standard
Not only are all of our weapons assembled by highly trained and qualified armorers,
but each weapon is test fired on our factory range to ensure that every Anvil
Arms weapon runs smoothly - right out of the box! We even include the actual
casings from the three test rounds fired through YOUR GUN. It’s that important.
”H” Buffer - Standard
Instead of the standard weight buffer, Anvil Arms installs the “H” buffer in all complete AA15 weapons we build. This gives more reliable operation. In all M16 weapons we install the “H2” buffer, again, for more reliable operation. These more expensive buffers are optional with other companies, with Anvil Arms, it is Standard, No Additional charge! We feel so strongly about the enhanced reliability of this upgrade that we have included them without you having to ask. After all, your life may depend on reliable operation.
M4 Feed Ramps - Standard
M-4 Style feed ramps are standard on ALL Anvil Arms AA15/AA16
weapons - at NO EXTRA CHARGE. We felt so strongly about the enhanced reliability
of this upgrade that we have included them without you having to ask. Again, your life may depend on reliable feeding.
Moly-Phenolic Coating - Standard
All of our Cro-moly steel barrels come standard with both standard Mil-Spec type black phosphate coating AND a self-lubricating, moly-phenolic coating. This technical coating is applied over the normal Mil-spec Parkerizing and the combination of coatings provides vastly superior metal protection and is available in a selection of tactical colors. Our barrels are fully coated, not left bare metal under the front sight base like most other brands. This is much more costly and takes a lot of time to do but quality is never "easy". Moly Coating is an available upgrade on our Stainless Steel barrels to change the color for a more tactical application. Longer lasting, better looking, higher quality, not optional.
Hard Chrome Chamber and Bore - Standard
All of our Cro-moly steel barrels come standard with Hard chrome lined chamber and bore. Hard chroming the chamber and bore provides for a surface hardness that far exceeds either a plain steel chamber and bore or Stainless Steel. This means far longer barrel life and easier cleaning! Two great benefits and no down side at all. This costs more but the longer barrel life and increased corrosion resistance is well worth it. Only the best available for our clients.
5.56mm Chambering - Standard
All of our barrels come with the Mil-Spec standard 5.56 chambers. This allows firing of all 5.56mm Mil-Spec ammunition as well as safe firing of all .223 civilian ammunition.
1:9 Rifling - Standard
All of our barrels come with the civilian industry standard 1:9 rifling twist rate. This allows our Law Enforcement and civilian clients the widest selection of bullet weights without over stabilizing the 5.56mm bullet to allow for maximum effectiveness on tissue based targets.

PLEASE NOTE: June 6, 2009: With a few exceptions we have been able to catch up on the AA15 lower receiver back orders. Lower receivers (Stripped or with LPK) are now (Normally) shipping within 48 hours of the placement of your order! We are currently out of receiver extension tubes (AKA: Buffer tubes) for the carbine 6 position stock but we have plenty of receivers and LPK’s in stock. We also have some 2 stage trigger units on hand at this time. We also have lots of Mil-Spec A2 stocks available.
If you ordered an AA15 lower receiver and were placed on the waiting list and still have not gotten it yet, please send us an email with the following information: Your full name; The sales order number (if you have it); A brief description of what you ordered; and VERY IMPORTANT, your CURRENT contact information. We have held some receivers back just to be sure that if we did somehow pass over somebody there should be no problems filling any possible missed orders. NOTE: We do have SEVERAL orders with buffer tubes as part of the order. We have been trying for 10+ days to contact those people. If you are one of them, please contact us ASAP.
